Strategies aimed at preserving the grass at a Saskatoon park could also negatively impact the future of revenue-generating city festivals. The city has proposed a number of restrictions for Kiwanis Park, noting past festivals are hard on the grounds by compacting the soil and allowing little time for turf regeneration.
