Trudeau expected to announce new ‘green agenda’ in Sept. 23 throne speech

A new “green agenda” is expected to be announced for Canada on Sept. 23 in Prime Minister Trudeau’s throne speech. The initiative is meant to aid in the country’s post-pandemic economic recovery. A greater number of parks are expected to not only fight climate change, but improve mental health and lay the foundation for a more equitable post-pandemic recovery.
