Trees dying at accelerated rate due to emerald ash borer

More than 60,000 ash trees are slated for removal in the Town of Blue Mountains, Ont. as a result of damages inflicted by the emerald ash borer. The invasion of the destructive insect has reached the point where all ash trees will require removal. Municipal staff say the trees are dying at an accelerated rate.
