Town delays plan for new recreational amenities
Councillors say there are still uncertainties to be resolved

The Town of Amherstburg, Ont. has delayed making a decision on a 10-year master plan for its Libro Centre. The plan was to map out a number of recreational amenities for the property, including additional baseball and soccer fields, but councillors argued there are still some uncertainties surrounding the construction of a new high school that would displace existing amenities at Centennial Park.
