Mayoralty candidate wants to close city courses

Oct. 9, 2018 – One of Toronto’s mayoralty candidates proposes the city’s three municipal golf courses be shut down and converted into open spaces for the year-round enjoyment of everyone. Jennifer Keesmaat said the Don Valley, Scarlett Woods and Dentonia Park golf courses are losing money and would be better served with other uses.
