Toro introduces new rotary riding mower

February 17, 2011  By  Mike Jiggens

The all-new Toro® Groundsmaster® 360 maximizes productivity by
combining the agility of a zero-turn riding mower with the flexibility
of an out-front rotary mower. Using Quad-Steer™ all wheel steering,
with the added control of a steering wheel, this exciting new mower
offers unprecedented maneuverability and versatility unlike any other
rotary mower.

Toro is introducing three new Groundsmaster 360 models with Quad-Steer all-wheel steering including a 2-wheel drive model, 4-wheel drive model, and 4-wheel drive model with a permanent all season safety cab. All models come with 72 in wide cutting decks in either side discharge, rear discharge or Guardian™ Recycler™ configurations.gm360web

With improved hillside traction and stability, the Groundsmaster 360 can go places (subject to slope limitations) inaccessible to most other large-area riding mowers. The machine’s Quad-Steer technology minimizes turf damage due to the unique steering geometry. Four-wheel drive models also come with the ability to switch to 2-wheel steering on-the-fly for quick and easy transport when not mowing.

Featuring the proven commercial cutting decks found on the Groundsmaster 7200 line and a powerful 36 hp Kubota® 1505 4-cylinder diesel engine, the Groundsmaster 360 provides the quality of cut demanded by professionals with the efficiency they covet. The 4-wheel drive models have an option of including Toro’s patented QASTM (Quick Attach System) for speedy, seamless changing of seasonal attachments like snow thrower, rotary broom and angled blade

Getting on and off the machine is easy. A sloped hood minimizes sight line barriers, making it easy for the operator to focus on what is in front of the mower. In addition, the all season safety cab model is isolation mounted and includes heat, A/C, and a Grammer cloth seat with air suspension standard.

Introducing the all-new Groundsmaster 360. Welcome to the next generation of mowing.
