Tillsonburg mayor says it’s ‘extremely discouraging’ golf course opened for play
Still no charges laid into fourth day of opening
April 27, 2021 By Stratford Beacon Herald
The mayor of Tillsonburg, Ont. says it’s “extremely discouraging” that a local golf course has been operating since Saturday in violation of the province’s extended stay-at-home order. Stephen Molnar said the municipality is working with police to ensure appropriate measures are taken when public health guidelines aren’t followed. The Bridges at Tillsonburg reopened for play on Saturday and remains open. Police have yet to lay any charges.
