Thunder Bay park project aimed at natural restoration, natural habitat

Project will create contrast with opposite side of park

Fisherman’s Park on Thunder Bay’s waterfront is to undergo a major expansion. The west side of the park, located at the mouth of the Current River, is to include passive recreation opportunities, wildlife habitat restoration, the re-creation of coastal wetlands and the rehabilitation of the Lake Superior shoreline.
