Thunder Bay introduces artificial turf on some city boulevards

Wishing to promote the infiltration of rain water into the ground rather than the storm sewer system, the City of Thunder Bay has installed artificial turf in the boulevards of one of its streets. Officials say the strategy is producing favourable results, and the turf is able to withstand streetsweeping machinery.
