Thunder Bay council’s response to new indoor facility pitch encourages soccer group

Soccer Northwest Ontario is encouraged by the response it has received by Thunder Bay city council in its wishes for a new indoor sports facility for the city. The organization’s president pitched an idea to council this week for a hangar-like facility that would include a large soccer field that could be separated into smaller fields. The facility would also be about half the cost of what was originally proposed earlier.
