Thunder Bay council puts off decision on indoor sports dome until it gets more information
Holding up decision is the facility's location
April 5, 2022 By Turf & Rec
Thunder Bay city council will wait until May to render a decision about where to locate a proposed bubble that will house six indoor tennis courts. Council discussed the issue at its meeting on Monday, but said more information is needed before a decision can be made. Among the concerns regarding its location is that the city’s administration recommends it be situated in an area requiring children to cross a roadway and that it would be further away from service connections.
