Thunder Bay converting baseball field into cricket facility as game’s growth soars

A growing cricket community in Thunder Bay has prompted the city to convert a baseball field into a facility dedicated to the sport. A cement pad has already been installed at the diamond at Chapples Park. A mat is to cover the pad next year, serving as the pitch, with additional plans to even the field with new turf.
