Thunder Bay commits $170,000 to study soccer group’s proposal for indoor turf facility

Cost is about half of original proposal

City council in Thunder Bay, Ont. has authorized an expense of $170,000 to study a proposal from Soccer Northwest Ontario to build an indoor turf facility in the city. The proposed project carries a price tag that is about half of what was originally proposed and later rejected at another city location.
