Three-way partnership allows for state-of-the-art artificial turf field project in Aurora, Ont.

$7M project expected to open for start of 2024-25 school year

A state-of-the-art artificial turf field, costing about $7 million, is coming to Aurora, Ont.

The project is a joint arrangement among the Town of Aurora, St. Anne’s School and the Shining Hill Group. The field will be located near St. Anne’s and will part of the Shining Hill’s Gates of St. Anne’s community.

The field is part of an overall project for the neighbourhood park that will also include a splash pad, playground and pickleball courts. Lighting for evening games is to be included.

Construction of the field is already underway and is expected to be completed and open for the start of the 2024-25 school year.
