Thieves made off with several grounds maintenance pieces of equipment sometime Sunday after breaking into a storage shed at a Grande Prairie, Alta. baseball park. Among the items stolen included a John Deere zero-turn mower, a Polaris quad, chainsaws, sweepers, trimmers and cans of gasoline. The non-profit Grande Prairie Minor Baseball Association has received help from local businesses that have loaned mowers to keep the diamonds maintained.
