‘The pandemic actually helped us’ – golf in Quebec sees 20 per cent increase this year

A 20 per cent increase in the amount of golf played this year in Quebec has been reported by the province’s association of golf courses. “The sport has had a resurgence, which is really positive,” Franco Sirianni, general manager at Triangle d’Or in South Shore St-Rémi, says. “In that sense, the pandemic actually helped us. It’s funny to say, but the pandemic actually helped the golf industry.”
