TarpDevil receives first in series of patents

April 30, 2020  By TarpDevil

TarpDevil, manufacturer of a system that makes the deployment and collection of turfgrass covers easier, has received the first in a series of anticipated patents. The first one comes via a U.S. patent for its cover and tarp management solution.

“We are thrilled to have completed this process and to have received confirmation that TarpDevil’s design was indeed unique,” Jordan Kitchen, president of TarpDevil, said. “I am extremely proud of our team for their dedication and commitment in seeing this process through and them being able to see the reward of a formal patent approval. It is also great news for our global distribution network and those early customers who embraced our vision and elected to deal with a new company and product. The early adopters have already paid for their units twice over and we cannot thank all of them enough. This news also reinforces our best-in-class approach.”

TarpDevil was introduced to the turfgrass industry in late August of 2017. The first of its kind, TarpDevil is a solution to reduce the burden of collecting and deploying covers on golf courses and in the sports turf and equestrian arenas. The tractor-mounted, hydraulically-controlled cover management system exponentially reduces the labour required to manage tarps in spring and fall.

TarpDevil, a Canadian company, has its offices and manufacturing facilities in Puslinch, Ont.
