Surfactants get Canadian registration

Two surfactant systems for use on turf have recently become registered for use in Canada.

AQUA-AID’s Organic Acid Removal Surfactant system (OARS) is in full compliance with CFIA regulations and is now available for purchase in all provinces of Canada for use on turf. A letter of registration is available on request. aquaaidweb

OARS is a patented surfactant system that has proven to manage water repellency and LDS. It is recommended to be used on all types of turf, especially greens and tees where water repellency is of most concern. OARS is available in a sprayable formulation.

OARS has been on the world market for more than eight years and has been tested in most all regions of the U.S.A. and Canada. OARS has been proven throughout the world to be a corrective approach for the management of water repellency and LDS. Superintendents around the world have been reporting success with the use of OARS, stating it provides a drier and firmer putting surfaces while still keeping the soil uniformly hydrated below.

AQUA-AID’s polyfunctional branched long-term surfactant system, PBS150, is in full compliance with CFIA regulations and is now available for purchase in all provinces of Canada for use on turf. A letter of registration is available on request.

PBS150 is a patented long-term surfactant system that has proven to be a valuable tool in the management of water repellency. Research has proven that PBS150 lasts significantly longer in the soil than other products. It is recommended for use on fairways and sports fields. PBS150 is available in a sprayable formulation.
