Public urged to sign petition for politicians

A movement is afoot in Ottawa with hopes to “rewild” the city. The strategy’s goal is to preserve green space, plant native species in parks and lawns, and naturalize urban areas. Environmental group Ecology Ottawa is urging the public to sign a petition to persuade local politicians to commit to a goal of rewilding.
