Storm management pond neighbours concerned by herbicide spraying

The City of Guelph is hoping to minimize the impact of natural habitat loss as it performs maintenance work at a storm management pond at Woodland Glen Park. One resident said she was concerned that the planned herbicide spraying presents a risk to those playing at a nearby baseball field and playground area. She added that although it is an invasive species that is mainly being targeted, there is still a risk of loss of habitat for some animal species.
