STA Ontario Field Day Sept. 18

Sports Turf Canada's annual Ontario Field Day is Thursday, Sept. 18 at Cutten Fields in Guelph. Registration is open for the event which includes sessions addressing drainage, field performance standards, protection and renovation.

Jason Henderson of the University of Connecticut and Pam Charbonneau of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Rural Affairs are the featured speakers.

The day will include a tour of neighbouring sports fields at the University of Guelph, including Varsity Field, the Soccer Complex, Alumni Stadium and the Field House. Industry suppliers will be set up inside Cutten Fields to showcase the latest in products and services.
