St. Catharines municipal golf course’s opening delayed until July

Unionized workers' issues are in play

The Garden City Golf Course in St. Catharines won’t be opening for play until July. One of the main issues is that the city workers’ union agreement states laid off union members must be hired back prior to hiring students and casual labour.
