St. Albert residents concerned how reservoir construction will affect park
Park is home to sports fields and arena
April 22, 2021 By St. Albert Today
St. Albert, Alta. residents are concerned how a popular neighbourhood park might be affected amid plans to replace the Sturgeon Heights reservoir and pump station. The current reservoir is nearing the end of its lifespan and needs replacement, but the city is looking at building a new one next door at Salisbury Park. Neighbouring residents wonder what this will mean for the park’s sports fields and arena once construction gets underway.
