St. Albert invests in establishing permanent disc golf course in municipality

City council in St. Alberta, Alta. has embraced the growing enthusiasm for disc golf. The municipality has earmarked $5,500 to set up a temporary course this year at Langholm Park, and has set aside an additional $15,000 for a study to find a permanent location. Disc golf is one of the fastest-growing sports, with about 1,000 players participating on five courses in the Edmonton area.
