St. Albert, Alta. golf facilities ready for earlier-than-normal spring start

Tired of being cooped up inside all winter, golfers in the St. Albert, Alta. area have been flocking to the local Lone Spruce driving range to shake away the off-season rust. And, with milder weather of late, golfers may be able to hit the links in the area as early as today – a full two weeks ahead of a normal year. The Sandpiper Golf Course was poised for an early opening.
