Soccer, baseball fields to give way to new pickleball courts at Barrie, Ont. park
Project to cost between $1.64M and $1.91M

The proposed construction of eight new pickleball courts in Barrie, Ont.’s Painswick Park will force the removal of existing soccer fields and the relocation of existing baseball diamonds. The cost of the project is expected to range between $1.64 million and $1.91 million. Four pickleball courts already exist at the park. The new courts will be lit for evening play.
