Tens of thousands of migrating snow geese have arrived in Richmond, B.C., but they’re leaving something behind that has irked local sports club officials. The birds, whose numbers have been increasing, are leaving masses of excrement behind at Hugh Boyd Park’s sports field. The executive director of the local football club says the droppings are sticking to young players’ shoes and ball. He added the geese don’t seem to be interested in flocking to the nearby artificial turf fields.
