Snow buildup, unsafe field forces high school championship game to switch venues
Snow could not be removed from artificial field in St. Catharines in time for game

The Niagara Region high school senior football championship game was forced to relocate to an area outside the region Thursday as officials deemed the intended St. Catharines field unsafe. A large accumulation of snow could not be removed from the artificial playing surface by game time.
