Site of Prince George’s lawn bowling club won’t be sold by city after all

Petition against sale garnered 1,000 signatures

Residents of neighbouring Watrous Park in Prince George, B.C. are rejoicing after the city opted not to sell the park that would have opened up the property to development of seniors housing. The park is home to a well-used children’s playground as well as the greens of the Prince George Lawn Bowling Club.
