Sports teams in Shellbrook, Sask. are anxiously awaiting the start of their respective outdoor seasons, but must first wait for winter to call it a day. Sports such as baseball and softball were already underway at this time last year, but lingering snow this time around must melt before teams can hit the diamonds and sports fields. The town’s recreation director says this year balances out with last year, and teams’ seasons will soon be underway.
