Sheep, not mowers, maintained grounds at OVWRC

Oct. 23, 2019 – Lawn maintenance at the Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre was performed this past summer by a crew of four-legged workers. Twenty sheep went to work to manage the centre’s vegetation, contributing to savings in both time and labour.
