Saskatoon records only second ever case of Dutch elm disease, first since 2015

City is concerned disease could spread through roots

Saskatoon has been hit with only its second ever case of Dutch elm disease and its first since 2015. The city is concerned the infection can be spread to other trees through its root system. The infected tree is being removed.
