Sarnia plants new Vimy oaks to honour fallen WWI soldiers
Tree planting also symbolizes importance of local scouting movement in honouring Canadian veterans

Three new Vimy oaks have been planted at Sarnia’s Heritage Park to honour Canadian soldiers killed during the Battle of Vimy Ridge in 1917. The trees were planted by city arborists and members of local Beaver troops.
