Saanich residents outraged over tree-cutting plans

Dec. 7, 2018 – Residents of Saanich, B.C. are up in arms over plans to cut down about 50 trees to accommodate a new sewage pipe. A campaign has been initiated on Grange Road to tie green ribbons around trees on the street to highlight what could be lost, including highly valued Garry oaks.
