Recent snowfall delays spring opening at Prince George, B.C. golf course; first mow yet to be done
Club comes through winter in great shape
April 11, 2022 By Turf & Rec

Spring openings of golf courses in Prince George, B.C. will likely be delayed a few days beyond Easter weekend following a recent snowfall.
The Aberdeen Golf Club wishes to delay its opening to allow sweepers onto the greens before initial mowing takes place. The recent snow has also contributed to wet areas in lower spots in some of the fairways.
The Prince George Golf & Curling Club hopes to open on Good Friday, saying the golf course came through the winter well and is expected to be in good shape in time.
