Protesters occupying closed golf course since October have left: Brantford spokesperson

Protesters who had been occupying the former Arrowdale Golf Course in Brantford, Ont. since early October have left the property, according to a city spokesperson. The city had been granted an interim injunction in mid-December to have all trespassers removed from the site. The occupation began in opposition to the city’s late 2019 decision to close the golf course and sell much of the land to a developer.
