Program offers hort skills to female offenders

June 29, 2018 – Dalhousie University’s faculty of agriculture and the Correctional Service of Canada have teamed up to offer a horticulture skills training program that teaches female offenders vocational and technical skills to use in transition to employment post-release. The program has grown significantly since it began in 1995.
