Nov. 2, 2018 – Sustainable landscaping practices will be discussed Nov. 13 in Lakefield, Ont. by the president of a Beaverton company that promotes sustainability. Anna Van Maris, president of Parklane Landscapes, will speak about such practices as rain-collecting rain gardens that are aimed at collecting rain water and melted snow that naturally runs off roofs and other features.
