About 450 new trees and shrubs will be planted Sept. 23 at Milton, Ont.'s Drumquin Park in celebration of National Forest Week. The trees and shrubs are expected to lessen stormwater runoff volumes, stabilize soil, increase plant species diversity and increase oxygen production by plants.
