Grande Prairie golf season delayed 3-4 weeks
Low daytime temperatures and sub-zero overnight lows have combined to delay the start of golf season in the Grande Prairie area.
Golf season in some parts of Alberta won't get underway for another three or four weeks, falling well behind schedule, due to a winter season that refuses to give way to spring. "But if it starts snowing again it will set us back even more,” Dunes Golf and Winter Club superintendent Brent Ashman said.
