Full size improvements to compact track loader

July 4, 2012  By  Mike Jiggens

Kubota’s 90-horsepower compact track loader now provides even better
performance and efficiency. The  SVL90-2  now boasts Kubota’s common
rail system engine, which is Interim Tier IV. This new engine delivers
more horsepower and torque, better fuel economy, and cleaner emissions.
The engine’s ECU (Electronic Control Unit) controls and delivers
precise fuel injection.

Additionally, the engine’s ECU allows for an electronic and improved anti-stall system, which provides better control of the hydraulic load versus engine torque. kubotawebWhen the machine comes under heavy hydraulic load digging into a pile, or climbing hills and operating the loader/bucket, the engine will not stall. This is an important benefit for productivity and for less experienced operators.

Other improvements include the instrument panel which provides more indicators and warnings, and the high-flow model SVL90-2 features a second set of larger (3/4”) auxiliary hydraulic couplers. The  SVL90-2 arrived in June.
