Brushless Pole Saw joins 82-volt line of battery equipment

June 18, 2018 – Greenworks Commercial, a leader in battery-powered outdoor equipment for landscaping and turf management professionals, has expanded its 82-volt line with a new commercial-grade tool ideal for fall outdoor maintenance.

The Brushless Pole Saw is powered by 82-volt battery technology, delivering power and run time equivalent to comparable gas-powered models. The battery combines with brushless, electric motor technology to provide high torque and product life with zero-maintenance functionality, all while producing reduced noise and vibration and the elimination of emissions.

The saw provides all the power and function landscape and turf management professionals need, utilizing the following key technologies:

•    10-inch Oregon bar and chain with side adjust chain tensioning
•    three-piece aluminum alloy shaft for 8-foot or 12-foot reach (extension included)
•    Quick connections that make assembly and disassembly fast and easy
•    Brushless motor for more torque and longer life
•    Auto oiler to keep the chain lubricated for optimum cutting
•    27-degree angled head for safe overhead working conditions
•    Available for use with 2.5Ah, 4.0Ah and 5.0Ah batteries, yielding an average range of 105 to 240 cuts per charge

In addition to being quieter and eliminating odours for clients, the Brushless Pole Saw is also more user-friendly with 50 per cent less noise than a gas equivalent, protecting workers’ hearing.  Furthermore, it produces five times less vibration than gas powered competitors, reducing fatigue to extend the work day. Finally, the pull trigger start eliminates pull cords completely, making restarting the tool safe and easy.

Complementing the 82-volt Brushless Pole Saw’s effectiveness and ease-of-use, is its ecological benefits.
