Masich Place Stadium in Prince George has been awarded the Recreation Facilities Association of British Columbia’s (RFABC) Bill Woycik Outstanding Facility Award.

The stadium was recognized for its recent series of renovations, which included a new artificial turf infield, a resurfaced synthetic track and improvements to its field event areas. Additionally, its grandstand was upgraded to meet FIFA, CFL, NFL, and IAAF standards.

The award is presented annually by the RFABC to recognize recreational facilities that meet the needs of the community and which include innovations in design, energy management, revenue generation, operations, maintenance, and services.
