Prince Albert, SK has benefited greatly in the aftermath of Project Triple Play

High-end softball fields have attracted national, international tournaments

Project Triple Play, a $1.6-million venture aimed at upgrading the facilities at parks in Prince Albert, Sask., has paid dividends for the community since it was conceived a decade ago.

Laronge Now reports the construction of a new softball diamond at Prime Minister’s Park and expansions at Max Power Ball Park to accommodate four regulation-size fields have allowed Prince Albert to host major national and international softball tournaments.

The economic impact on the community has been profound.
