Possible sale of Arrowdale Golf Course back on the table
Some Brantford councillors, however, won't renege on commitment to keep it operating

At least two Brantford city councillors oppose the sale of the municipal nine-hole Arrowdale Golf Course, reminding their peers that the city made an earlier commitment to keep the golf course operating following much public input. Coun. Jan Vanderstelt initiated new discussion about Arrowdale’s future, saying the sale of the property would amount to about $21 million and would generate annual property taxes of about $3 million once developed.
