Petition signers wish to save Victoria tree

Jan. 28, 2019 – A lone white aspen tree in the heart of Victoria, B.C. is on the chopping block in order to accommodate bike lanes in the city, but hundreds of people have signed a petition to keep the tree intact, suggesting the bike route can be planned around it. The tree has sentimental value to many.
