Golfers in Headingley, near Winnipeg, are hoping the municipally owned John Blumberg Golf Course can remain open for play and not be sold for possible development. A petition is being circulated in hopes of stopping any sale. The golf course’s fortunes have made a positive turn since 2017, proponents argue.
