Parksville, B.C.’s Morningstar Golf Club back in hands of previous ownership group

Vancouver Island’s Morningstar Golf Club is back in the hands of its former owner. The sale of the Parksville club to Realcor Golf Inc. has been approved by the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Realcor’s Operating Engineers’ Pension Plan of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 115 had owned the club for 12 years before selling it in 2010. The golf course went into receivership in 2018, but its fortunes have since rebounded.
