Opening coincides with Masters and not afterward as is usual

Golf courses on Prince Edward Island are on the cusp of opening for the 2021 season, building on a strong 2020 year that saw increased rounds played, more memberships purchased and more women taking up the game. Golf doesn’t usually begin on the island until after a week following The Masters tournament. This year’s opening coincides with the PGA Tour’s first major tournament of the season.
