Ottawa, South Nation Conservation partner in battle against emerald ash borer
Funding established for tree removal and replacement

A partnership has been established between South Nation Conservation and the City of Ottawa to stop the spread of the emerald ash borer. The parties have launched an ash tree replacement program in which property owners are eligible to receive up to $500 per tree to cover the cost of the removal and replacement of an infected tree. The city’s funding adheres to a first-come, first-served basis.
